Step into your drawing

Support

Need help, or want to report a problem? E-mail us at [email protected]. A real person reads every message; we usually reply within 2 working days. Please never send photos of children.

Getting started

  1. Your child draws on paper — pencils, markers, crayons or paint.
  2. A parent or guardian takes a photo of the finished drawing and uploads it on a phone at stepintoyourdrawing.com/make, together with the 6-digit code shown in the app.
  3. When the world is ready, open Step into your drawing on Meta Quest. Your family gallery opens straight away; point at a world and pinch (or press the trigger) to step in.
  4. Move around by swiping your thumb along your index finger: forward to glide, look up to fly, left or right to turn. See moving with your hands.

Who can use the headset?

The Meta Quest app Step into your drawing is for users aged 13 and up. A parent or guardian sets up the app and manages purchases. Younger children can draw on paper and watch on a phone, tablet or TV; they do not use this app in the headset.

Frequently asked questions

How do I leave a world or stop?

In a world, point at the little "Back to the gallery" sign on its pole and pinch (or press the trigger). In the gallery, choose ✕ Exit. You can also press the Meta button (or look at your palm and pinch) to leave the app at any time.

How do I buy worlds?

Your first world is free. Extra worlds are bought in the app through Meta, behind a parent lock. Children cannot buy anything on their own.

A world didn't turn out well. What now?

Your credit is given back automatically, and you can try another photo or drawing. Tips: photograph the drawing flat, in daylight, without shadows, with the whole sheet in view.

I bought something but didn't get my world credit.

E-mail us with the date of the purchase. We can check it with Meta and fix it — you never pay twice.

How do I delete our data?

In the app, open the parent menu (🔒 Parents) and choose Delete everything. Your family's worlds and photos are removed right away; backup copies expire within 30 days. Your world credit stays. See the privacy policy for details.

Is this therapy?

No. Step into your drawing is a creative family experience, not a medical or therapeutic product.

Report a problem or inappropriate content

If something in a world or a story looks wrong or inappropriate, e-mail [email protected] with the name of the world. Please don't send photos of children. A real person looks at every report, and we can remove a world for you.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Meta. You can request a refund through Meta's Store under the Meta refund policy; if a world fails, we return your credit automatically.
